Count the Cost and Pay the Price

You must pay the price. You've heard the expression, "There is no free lunch." Believe that sincerely in this context of Success Principles. Understand, acknowledge, believe, accept, even demand to know, the price you're willing to pay to get what you want.

For example, suppose you want a better relationship with your family. You may have to pay the price of giving up ball playing on Thursdays. You may have to give that time to your family instead.

Suppose you want to be a millionaire within 5 years. You may have to give up television altogether and spend 2-3 hours each day working on your own business, your own future.

If you decide the price of getting what you want is to go to college, the you must determine to go to college. However, if your dream is to go to college, then that is not the price, that is the reward. You must then determine what price you must pay, that you're willing to pay, to get the funds and the time necessary to go to college.

Success is not without cost. Determine what that cost will be to you, and decide that you will pay the price.
