The American Freedom Party stands for a strong and free people and a strong and free nation. Strength never comes easy; it always takes determination and effort. It requires doing things that may not feel comfortable, but is necessary for health and growth. The United States has already embarked on a path of greatness and strength. Whether by accident, human design or Divine Providence, America has already opened a path and shined a light for all the world to use and be benefited. We do not seek to create a new country out of ashes, but to strengthen this great nation and promote its destiny.

The surest path for defeat is disunity and partisanship. America's enemies want us disunified and bickering among ourselves. America's enemies want us defeated and broken. Yet for our own sakes and for the sakes of all people in all nations, we can not and we will not let that happen. We are a united nation fighting for a united goal: freedom, strength and prosperity.

The American Freedom Party stands for freedom and prosperity for all people, and for strength and unity for the nation.

Citizenship

Top

A child born to foreign parents within borders of the United States or its territories retains the citizenship of his parents. If either parent is a United States citizen, then the child is a United States citizen, but parent who is a citizen must be available for contact and verification. If the parents of the child are unknown and unavailable, and it cannot be shown which country to whom the child belongs, the child becomes a citizen of the United States and is a ward of the state.

English

English is the official language of the United States.

That does not mean English is the best language in the world. It does not mean the English European culture is the best in the world. It means only that by means of this language America was founded and developed. It is the predominate language in the United States and has become an international language of commerce and diplomacy.

For the United States to be united and strong, we need one official language. Dual languages will inevitably divide a nation.

English is the language that will officially be spoken and used in government offices, unless that office is specificially established to deal with people who speak only another language.

English will be the language used in our state-sponosored schools, Kindegarden, Elementary, Middle, High School, College and Universities, unless the school class is set up to teach another language.

English will be the language used on all State and Federal posters and signs. Foreign languages may appear on the same sign, below English and in a smaller font.

English will be used in commercial signs. Foreign languages may appear on the same sign, below English and in a smaller font.

The universal use of English is absolutely necessary for civil servants to perform their jobs, the police, firefighters, military, militia, construction workers, and drivers.

Immigration

The United States as a nation is required to secure itself against all enemies and potential enemies. The United States must secure its borders, prohibiting free and unchallenged passage into this country. The United States must keep a record of all foreign visitors. Foreign visitors to the United States must adhere to this nation's laws and leave at the appropriate time allowed by law.

Illegal Immigration

  1. People who secretly and illegally enter the United States have broken American laws and should be deported with penalty.
  2. Employers and private citizens who knowingly hire illegal aliens will be guilty of a felony and liable for prison and fines.
  3. The United States must control its borders to the point where few or no illegal aliens enter the country.
  4. Illegal aliens lose their right to apply for legal status or future legal immigration.
  5. Aliens who enter the country legally but thereafter hide or secret their presence, decline to leave at the appropriate time, is considered an Illegal Alien

Foreign Workers

  1. The United States government, its citizens and industries may hire foreign workers to perform tasks in the United States
  2. Foreign workers must maintain an address in his/her home country
  3. Foreign workers may enter the United States for a specific task
  4. Foreign workers must return to their own country at least once a year for a period of three months
  5. Foreign workers may not be hired as a permanent worker that includes elevation to management

Inclusion

The United States is a land of opportunity. Anybody who does the work receives the reward. The United States may not make any law denying any adult citizen (except felons and prisoners) the right of employment to any job or advancement therein for which he or she is capable.

No employer who hires employees from the general population may deny employment to any person for reasons of discrimination.

No merchant or service organization who sells product or services to the general population may deny sells or transactions to any person for reasons of discrimination.

No organization whose members arise out of the general population may deny membership to any person for reasons of discrimination.

Any government agency, employer, merchant or organization may separate service or employment to people based on their gender. For example, employers may provide toilet facilities for only women and for only men. The United States military may separate men and women into different barracks for housing.

Military

Top

The United States must always have a trained and well-equipted military ready to face any conflict or emergency at any time.

The days of massive military force requiring thousand or millions of citizens should be a thing of the past. In this day of intelligence gathering, technological accomplishment, and military tools, a few men can now do what once required thousands to accomplish.

All American soldiers should now be highly intelligent, highly skilled, highly equiped, and highly paid but few in number. Concentrated effort should be made to remove the common citizen in uniform from being the target of an enemy bullet.

The American military force, when called upon to act, should be able quickly to move in, get the job done and move out within a reasonable amount of time. American civilians left behind, such as administrators and medical personnel, should be totally safe to operate within their environment with a minimum of watchful police force.

Non-Defensive Armed Conflict

Top

The United States has the right, obligation and moral authority to declare a non-defensive war on another country in these instances:

  1. A government has declared war on its own people or a portion of the people thereof. If the goverment is practicing genocide or ethnic cleansing. This does not include a government's defending itself in a civil war or local uprising.
  2. A government is a criminal government, engaging in criminal activity against its own people or against the people of another nation.
  3. A government is engaging in criminal activity detrimental to the Unitest States, such as smuggling drugs or other contraband into the United States
  4. A government has engaged in an agressive war against the United States, its territories or its allies.

The United States has no right and should not declare a non-defensive war on another country in these instances:

  1. To enlarge its own borders
  2. To force another government to give more human rights to its citizens
  3. To force another government to adopt another economic system
  4. To join an ally that has declared war on another nation

Parental Authority

Top

The Parent(s) and not the government – federal, state, local or civil – has authority and responsibility over their children under the age of eighteen as long as the children are living at the residence provided by the parent.

  1. The parent(s) decides which school their child may attend
  2. The parent(s) may homeschool their own child if they engage in a curricula of general education and pass a standardized test applied to all children
  3. The parent(s) decides which religion they observe and in which they raise their child
  4. The parent(s) disciplines and trains their own child in a manner that seems right to them, up to and including corporal punishment

The Parent(s) are responsible for their child's behavior and may be called to account for or held responsible for the child's actions.

The Parent(s) may not:

  1. Kill their child
  2. Willfully injure their child to the point of requiring medical treatment
  3. Inflict deliberate emotional trauma on the child
  4. Withhold needed food or drink from the child to the point that it endangers the child's health
  5. Imprison or bound the child as a permanent form of control
  6. Enslave the child
  7. Sell the child
Such behavior as that justifies the State's removal of that child from that parent and to pursue criminal legal action against the parent.
